I am an activist, consultant and researcher in the international development and humanitarian aid sector.
In 2011 I founded and am still the managing director at MzN International, a social enterprise advising and providing sustainable business solutions to the sector.
I have the pleasure of working with leading development and humanitarian organisations including UN agencies, government ministries, NGOs and think tanks in over 20 countries. Recently I started to guest lecturer at a UK university and contributing to regularly to conferences on subjects relating to development and aid. Since 2008 I am also a disaster recovery and needs assessment volunteer and volunteer with the Red Cross in the UK and Austria.
Together with Dr Adrian Flint (University of Bristol), I have developed the concept of Beneficiary-Led Aid. I spend all my free time with my family, one the Squash court or rock climbing.
